Can you believe it has almost been two full weeks of practice!  Well it has, and we are ready to see just how fast our amazing squids are.  On Saturday, June 18 we will have our first event of the season.  In order for this to run smoothly, we need parent volunteers.

This year, families are required to volunteer for a minimum of 9 points for the season.  You can sign up for events using Swim Portal. Login with the username and password that you used to register your swimmers! Points will also be displayed after the completion of the job.  Points will be tracked on Swim Portal so families can determine the points needed before the next event.

If you are unsure of what the jobs consist of, please check out the job descriptions on the team website, http://www.fortmyersquids.com/volunteer to see what you are best suited for.  We've also provided an easy guide for how to sign-up for volunteer jobs which can be found at: http://www.fortmyersquids.com/volunteer/volunteersignup

To volunteer, for our first event, Time Trials, please sign up using this link,

After Time Trials, we will also have our first social event, the Squids Picnic!  This is a great time to meet new swim families and catch up with old ones.  Swimmers will also get to meet their Big and Little Squids which is an exciting moment!  Please follow this link to volunteer to bring a dish or lend a hand.

Please remember to login with the email address that was used to register your swimmer!

As always, thanks in advance for your help!  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email or ask any of the board members.

It takes an Army of Squids to make a team strong!
