Our meet last Saturday against the Franklin Farm Froggers was a fun and exciting one! We ended up pulling out a win, by just FOUR points AND had some records broken along the way too! We had a lot of great swims, many best/improved times, and a lot of cheering to boot! Great job to everyone who swam and came and cheered us on!

Tomorrow we are holding practice ONLY for those kids swimming non-exhibition events in the meet on Saturday. Enjoy some sleeping in and a day off for the holiday otherwise. Your coaches are jealous! :)
  • 13 and Older – 6:45am – 8:15am
  • 12 and Under – 8:15am – 9:15am

The meet is AWAY at Cascades.
The line-up has been sent out via the FMST email list. If you see your child slated to swim and they aren't available please let the coaches know ASAP. This is an 8 lane pool so we have an opportunity for more entries and also more exhibitions !

Please arrive at 715am for warm-ups. Our warmup starts at 7:30am.
As a reminder, if you are not present by the end of warmups, we will remove you from the meet.

The pool is located at:
20670 Fernbank Court
Potomac Falls, VA

Our theme is ‘Happy Birthday, America!’ so wear your best celebration outfit in honor of the 4th of July! Also, don’t forget to hang with your littles. Just a reminder, if their name is blacked out on the lineup they won’t be at the meet.

Few items on the schedule to note listed below. More info on those later.

8 JUL Pancake Breakfast and Bowling – there are some more volunteers needed for this so please check the signup genius on the website to lend a hand!

12 JUL Team Picnic

The Relay Carnival is next Sunday, July 13th. If your swimmer usually swims relays in Saturday meets, they may be asked to swim at the Relay Carnival. Please let me know if your swimmer is not available.

Several parents had questions about Divisionals. The coaches will do a lineup for the meet. The swimmers' times at the Divisionals is what will potentially qualify you for All Stars. Typically, the top 4-5 swimmers in every age group are who will swim at Divisionals. More info on this to follow as we get closer.
